I have created things my entire life. I started turning wood in 2016, I found my passion. When I am not turning wood, I'm thinking about it. When I am turning, time flies and I am happy. I guess you could say I am one with the wood! LOL  The down side, my house is covered in sawdust. I am in the garage in my happy place so, who cares.

Lou Pugliese

I was born and raised in Colorado and having attended Lincoln High School in Denver, eventually earning a Master of Arts degree in Organizational Management and Human Resource. I spent 27 years in law enforcement and currently work as a security supervisor at the Dillon Dam, soon to retire. After leaving law enforcement, I got involved in wood turning only after getting my wife (Patty) a mini-lathe for Christmas nearly seven years ago. A few years later, my wife convinced me to turn wood also. What I discovered is that turning wood provides autonomy and pleasure in creating something out of wood with your bare-hands that other people enjoy. A hobby has now become a passion for me.

Robert Pugliese

I am the youngest of the family. I started doing woodturning as a hobby, then it became an addiction. Although I am not able to do it full time, I do it every chance I get.
